Professional Experience
Former President of Black Hills Tennis Association (BHTA) and on the Board of Directors for the past
20 years.

Arrowhead Country Club

Director of Tennis
Tennis Director at Arrowhead Country Club for 16 years. Instrumental in
planning and building a three indoor court facility in 1995. Managed and
supervised employees, leagues, lessons, programs and pro shop. Built-up
membership from 75 to 170 tennis memberships. Taught approximately 1500
private and group lessons each year.

Albuquerque, NM
Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting Major,
Economics Minor Played tennis on scholarship for UNM Division I tennis
team.
1975 - 1976
School of Mines and Technology
Rapid City, SD
Played number one as a freshman and won NAIA Conference and NAIA Districts
for singles and doubles. Invited to compete in the NAIA Nationals in
Kansas City, MO.
Additional Professional Activities
2000 USPTA Ranked #9 nationally in 45 singles 1983-2002 South Dakota
tennis tournaments – winner of all major SD tournaments. Winner of the
Black Hills Open singles for seven times. 1974-1975 Rapid City Park and
Recreation Department – managed the tennis program.
Professional Memberships
United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) 20 year member,
P-1. Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) P-1 rating, 13 year member. United
States Tennis Association (USTA), 30 years. Wilson Advisory Staff Member,
8 years.
Community Activities
2003 President of the Black Hills Tennis Association.
USTA Clinician and USTA NTRP Rater.
Daryl was inducted into
the SD Hall of Fame in Sioux Falls in 2009. His accomplishments include
his tournament play in the Northern Section and
College tennis, teaching tennis for over 35 years and building two indoor
tennis facilities in Rapid City

Billy Paluch - Billy has
the most high school boys wins in South Dakota history and state Champion
for 3 years at #1 singles and most wins in SD history in winning 5 doubles
Championships at #1 doubles. Currently a Freshman at Creighton and playing
#1 singles and doubles on a tennis and academic scholarship. Billy is
currently playing #1 at Creighton in Omaha. Billy will teach during the
summers and holidays.

Whitney Paluch - Whitney
is back in town and will be teaching at The Tennis Center. Whitney, four
year letter holder at Cal State Northridge (3 years with a degree in
psychology) and one year of graduate school at University of Montana
playing #3 on the tennis team. Whitney just finished up with teaching at
the premier Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
